Meet Junebug, a 15 year old Standardbred Gelding who has had a long and successful career and is now looking for a retirement home to live out the rest of his days in happiness and love.

Junebug does get a bit anxious if away from his buddies unless he knows its part of his routine (i.e leaving his stall for the pasture or turnout) Its best to halter him first before taking any other horses out as he does get really anxious and excited to get out and it will make haltering more difficult. Bug will need a strong and experienced handler who can show him love and patience. Junebug does have a collapsed jugular on his left side, this causes the veins to bulge or become more noticeable on his face in warm weather or with exercise.

He also has a cosmetic growth on his right side in his girth area that we have had accessed and it non-threatening. Once you get to know Bug and all his quirks he becomes extra easy to love. He is currently on senior feed with some vitamin oils and LOVES his hay!

JuneBug is not saddle trained and priority will be given to a home that will offer him retirement/companionship.

He is up to date on vaccinations, teeth and farrier.
