May 11, 2006 at Hanover farms in Pennsylvania a foal was born. Being from Brooke Haley and sired by a Canadian Racing Hall of famer Astreos. Little did I know-16 years later how this little foal would change lives.

Boswell Hanover or best known as Bozzy, would spend the next 14 years of his life as a harness racer. Moving from PA onto Canadian soil at 2 years of age. Spending time in Prince Edward Island, Ontario and then making his way back east to settle in Inverness, Nova Scotia, where he would finish his racing career. After switching many hands, as race horses often do, he would retire out of racing and spend a year in West Lake Ainslie, NS.

He then made his way to his forever home. Where he is the face and heart behind our purpose and cause. We know that any wrong turn could have put him in a dire position that so many great horses find themselves in and our hope and driving force is that every horse has a chance to live the life they deserve.
